CoderDojo - Montrose

Event description

What is CoderDojo?

CoderDojo is a global network of free coding clubs for young people. In the clubs or Dojos, young people learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and explore technology in an informal and creative environment.

What happens at CoderDojo?

Things usually start with an ice breaker activity before the Mentors present the code the group will learn that day. They will then work together for an hour, before chatting about what they have done or presenting their work.

  • CoderDojo is open to children aged 9-14 years, accompanied by an adult/guardian
  • Please bring along a fully charged laptop
  • Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis

If you can’t make it this week, don’t worry! CoderDojo is on every Monday during school term time.
